They Ran for Their Lives Because They Chose Jesus

For David’s family, following Jesus came at a cost.

When his father and uncle chose to follow Christ in a small Muslim village in West Africa, the reaction was immediate. Village leaders turned against them. Threats became real.

So they fled.

On foot, David’s father and uncle fled through the forests, walking hundreds of kilometers toward the border with Guinea, leaving behind home, family, and everything familiar.

Years later, that story continues through David.

Today, he leads a ministry team in Senegal helping people discover the hope of Jesus Christ in a region where many are still searching for salvation through spiritual leaders known as marabouts.

But something new is happening.

After receiving media ministry training through 3xM, David’s team began using social media to share the Gospel online. What once reached small groups through camps and personal meetings is now reaching more than 24,000 people digitally.
