The Gospel Is Going Online in One of Pakistan's Most Dangerous Cities

The morning traffic of Peshawar is unlike almost anywhere else in the world.
Motorcycles weave through crowded streets. Vendors arrange their goods along dusty roads. The call to prayer echoes across the city as another day begins in one of Pakistan's oldest and most historic communities.

Yet beneath the rhythm of daily life lies a reality many Christians around the world rarely experience.
For believers in Peshawar, openly following Jesus can bring social pressure, discrimination, and misunderstanding. In a region marked by instability and violence, Christian ministry often requires both wisdom and courage.
And yet, God continues to open new doors.
This month believers from across the region gathered for a Digital Leadership and Media Training Workshop organized through Seeking Jesus Online (SJO), a partnership between 3xM International, ABES, and the Diocese of Peshawar.
The workshop was part of the 3xM Academy Train-the-Trainer initiative, which equips local believers not only to use digital media effectively but also to train others to do the same.
Many participants arrived with a simple question:
"How can we share the love of Christ in a digital world?"
Over four days they learned how to create meaningful content, engage people through social media, and build authentic online relationships. They discovered that digital ministry is not simply about technology. It is about people.
For some, a social media account became more than a personal profile, it became a mission field.

A message became an opportunity for discipleship.
A conversation became the beginning of a spiritual journey.
As the training concluded, participants left with more than new skills. They left with a vision.
A vision that God can use ordinary believers through extraordinary means.
A vision that a smartphone can become a tool for sharing the Gospel.
A vision that even in places where Christian witness is difficult, the message of Jesus can travel farther than ever before.
Now these leaders are returning to their churches and communities equipped to train others. Through the 3xM Academy Train-the-Trainer program, the impact of four days in Peshawar has the potential to multiply across the region, one leader training another, one conversation leading to another, and one life at a time being transformed by the hope of Christ.
In a city where faith often requires courage, God is raising up a new generation of digital ambassadors, ordinary believers equipped to share an extraordinary message.
